Exploring with Google Earth

Throughout the year, we have explored many places using Google Earth. Now it is your turn. The first thing I need you to do is download Google Earth onto your personal computer. (if you don't have it already) Click on the link below and follow the directions to get Google Earth on your desktop.

Assignment #1

The first assignment I would like you to do is open Google Earth and find your house. You will need to type in your address, city, and state. Once you have done this, share you thoughts and then go explore the rest of your town.

Assignment #2

Now that you have found your home on Google Earth, I would like you to go to the Northeast Region. Explore the Northeast and look at some of the places we have studied. Here are some examples: New York City, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, the Great Lakes...

After you have explored several different places, post where you went and what you saw as a result of Google Earth.
